About CineNest

CineNest is a non-profit production company that collaborates with film funds, municipalities and creatives to bring socially urgent stories to life. The focus lies on developing and producing films with both artistic value and social relevance.

Beyond the screen, CineNest seeks to create broader engagement around its projects. Films are often accompanied by screenings, talks and workshops that encourage dialogue, reflection and connection with audiences and communities.

Meet the board

 

Chairperson: Isalin Mulders

Isalin is a Creative Business graduate from Breda University of Applied Sciences. During her studies, she gained hands-on experience in production across theatre, (live) television, and film and documentary projects, both in the Netherlands and internationally. One of the highlights of her work was producing a live TV show in Arizona, United States. She is particularly passionate about stories related to culture and history that resonate with audiences.

She is currently attending the TV Academy in Amsterdam. Isalin is a theatre enthusiast and has seen Soldaat van Oranje The Musical more times than she can count.

 

Treasurer: Joey Strijbosch
Joey works as Staff Audit at EY and is a member of the EY Young Professionals Board (Assurance). With a strong financial and analytical focus, he supports the foundation in maintaining a solid financial structure and transparent reporting. Joey is half Serbian and speaks multiple languages. He has a background in amateur theatre, which gives him a natural affinity with the cultural field alongside his professional work. Joey has a strong interest in history and geopolitics.
 
Secretary: Bram Mulder

Bram has a background in audiovisual media (SintLucas) and works as a freelance cinematographer. In addition, he is responsible for audiovisual communication at VB&T, further strengthening his practical experience in media production and visual storytelling. He loves to travel and enjoys cooking Mediterranean dishes.
